The instructions provide a description of how to switch to the desired mode. Performs measurements along straight lines and curves. The description is in the instructions, but I haven't figured out the curves yet. Charges from a Type C cord, but it arrived not working. 😔 (I took my phone's charger - it charges from that). There is a slight error in centimeters. I didn't see any errors in inches.

I heard that it can measure long distances up to 99m, so I thought it was a laser distance meter and bought it, but it was just a tape measure haha. It doesn't measure perfectly accurately, and there seems to be a difference of about 1-2mm based on a 10cm standard.

This ruler is not accurate!
It always gives you different results. I tried to measure the length of my table which is 90 cm. I made 4 measurements and this device said my table length is 67, 64, 71 and 65 cm. I can accept the error of a couple of milimeters or even a centimeter but not 25!
I think it is just a nice toy for kids and it has nothing to do with a real tool that you can trust and use daily.
If i'm wrong please let me know how to calibrate it.
